Analytics

Analytics shows your organization's money, events, community and timing over any range, compared with the period before, with highlights at the top.

On this page

Analytics is your organization's numbers over any range you pick: money, events, community and timing, each compared with the period before. Open it from the Overview title on Home, or from the setup guide. It has no row of its own in the sidebar.

Filters

The bar at the top stays in view as you scroll, and everything under it follows it.

  • Range: Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Last 12 months, Year to date, All time, or a custom range you pick on the calendar.
  • Compare with previous period: draws the same number of days straight before as a gray line, point for point. All time has nothing before it, so the switch turns off.
  • Daily, Weekly or Monthly: how the chart groups days. Ovante picks one to suit the range, and offers the others that fit. A week or month still in progress is drawn dashed and says "so far".
  • All events: narrow everything to the events you pick.

Days are your organization's, in the time zone set in Settings → General. The filters stay in the page's address, so a link you share opens the same view.

Highlights

Cards at the top that each answer one question, like when most orders come in or which event sold best. Each needs enough data behind it before it shows, so a quiet period shows fewer.

The trend

Revenue, Donations, Tickets sold, Page views and Conversion as tabs over one chart. Each tab gives its definition. Switch between Chart and Table to read the numbers without hovering.

Money

  • Where the money went: Revenue, then what came out of the ticket sales (Processing fees, Platform fee, Refunds), and the period's Donations.
  • Orders: how many, the Average paid order, the Average gift, and the split between paid and free.

Events

One row per event in the range: Revenue, Tickets, Capacity filled, Conversion and Checked in.

Community

  • Your community is everyone on your list today, whatever the range: each person a dot, placed by how many of your events they've come to, and colored by membership tier when you run a program. Beside it: Members or Came to an event, Regulars, and the period's New people, New members and Dues.
  • Where buyers come from: sales by host link, promo code, or Direct.
  • Who came: people who Came back against those at their First event.

Timing

  • When people buy: a heatmap by day and hour, with the Busiest day, Busiest hour and the share On weekends.
  • How far ahead people buy: how long before the event tickets sell.

Export

Export downloads CSVs of the numbers behind the page: Trend (every point on the chart), Events (one row per event) and Sources (direct, hosts and promo codes).
