A removed teammate lost their events
Events belong to the org, and creating one grants nothing extra. A removed teammate loses every event at once; the events stay with you.
Owner · Admin
Every event belongs to your organization, not to the person who made it. Creating an event gives the creator nothing beyond their role, so when you remove someone from the team they lose every event at once, including their own. The events stay, with their guests, orders and money, and the owner and Admins still have them.
Fix it
- 1To give the person access again, open Settings → Team and click Invite people.
- 2Enter their email and pick the role they need, such as Manager.
- 3They accept from the invitation email within 7 days. Every event in the org is theirs to work on again, as far as the role allows.
- When
- A teammate creates an event
- Then
- Creating it gives them nothing beyond their role. If you remove them from the team, they lose access to it at once.
- When
- You invite someone to your team
- Then
- They have 7 days to accept. Until they accept or the invite runs out, it takes one of your 5 seats.
Not this?
- A teammate still on the team can't see money: see A teammate can't see money or contacts.
- A teammate can't duplicate an event: see Duplicate is missing.
