Set up sponsorship levels
Add sponsorship levels on the Sponsors page, with a price, seats and a perks table. Every page style lists them; only an Interactive page can sell one at checkout.
On this page
Sponsorship levels are what you offer companies and major donors: Platinum at $10,000 with a table of 10, Gold at $5,000 with 4 seats. Every event has them, whatever its page style, and they show on your event page with their prices and what each one gets.
Add a level
- 1In the event, open Fundraising → Sponsors.
- 2Under Sponsorship levels, click Add level.
- 3Type the Name, such as Platinum, and a Description (optional) guests see when they open the level.
- 4Under Price and seats, set the Price and the Seats included. Use 0 seats for a gift with no seats.
- 5If it has seats, pick the Ticket type those seats are. Ticket types that need approval can't be picked.
- 6Optional: set a Sponsor limit (optional), and how many places are Reserved. Reserved places show as Reserved on your page and are never sold.
- 7Pick a Logo size for how its sponsors show on the page.
- 8Click Create level.
The sheet shows the tax-deductible part as you type: what the price is above the seats' value.
The perks table
What sponsors get, on the same page, is one table for every level: perks down the side, levels across the top. Click Add perk, then click a cell to mark it Included, Not included, or type what they get, such as "4" or "Front row". Become a sponsor on your event page shows this table. See What sponsors get: the perks table.
The text and button under the levels
Under Sponsorships on your event page, add a line of Text and a button that reaches you. Button label starts as "Become a sponsor"; Button link takes an email address or a web link. Without a link there's no button.
Click Save changes at the bottom of the page to save the perks table, the text and the button. Levels save from their own sheet.
Sell a level at checkout
On an Interactive page, a level's sheet has Sell at checkout. Turned on, guests choose the level and pay by card; the level needs at least one seat. On Standard and Showcase, sponsors join by contacting you through the button.
Show or hide
- Show on the event page, in the level's sheet, hides one level from the page.
- Show sponsorship opportunities, on the event's Settings page, hides every price, Reserved place and Become a sponsor at once. Levels that already have sponsors still show who joined.
- When
- A sponsorship level sells
- Then
- Each seat it includes is a ticket at the admission's value, and the rest of the price is a sponsorship gift. That's why most sponsorship money shows under Donations, not Revenue.
- When
- A sponsorship level has Sell at checkout on
- Then
- Guests can pick it with Join and pay by card. The switch exists only on an Interactive page and needs at least one seat; on every other page, guests reach you through the button in Become a sponsor.
- When
- A sponsorship level has Reserved places
- Then
- Checkout counts them as taken and never sells them, and the page lists each as Reserved under the level.
Good to know
- A level sold at checkout splits the money: each seat is a ticket at the admission's value, and the rest is a gift. That's why sponsorship money shows under Donations.
- Adding sponsors, their logos and the sponsor list are part of Gala. See The sponsor list.
