Edit event

Edit event opens the whole event form in one drawer: change what you need, then click Save once. Closing with unsaved changes asks first.

On this page

Edit event is the same form you filled in when you created the event, in a drawer over the page. Everything in it saves together with one Save button.

Edit the event

  1. 1
Open the event and click Edit event under its name.
  2. 2
Change what you need. The page's look is on the left, the words on the right.
  3. 3
Click Save in the top bar. It stays gray until something has changed.

The drawer closes and the event shows the change. Clicking the cover image in the event's header opens the drawer at the look.

The Status pickers

  • Visibility: Visible on calendar or Hidden from calendar. A members-only event also offers Visible to members.
  • Sales: On sale, Paused or Sold out. Paused closes checkout for every ticket until you resume. Sold out shows sold out, whatever is left.
  • Who can register: Anyone, Invite only or Members.

Whether the event is live isn't here. Publish and unpublish from the status button beside Edit event.

Close without saving

Close the drawer with the close button, Escape or a click outside it. If you changed anything, Ovante asks Discard changes? Click Discard to throw the edits away, or Keep editing to go back. "Unsaved changes" shows beside Save while you have some.

Good to know

  • Changing Sales here saves with the rest of the form. The Pause ticket sales switch on the event's Settings page does the same thing at once, behind a confirm.
  • Saving never publishes or unpublishes the event, even if someone changed its status while you had the drawer open.
  • Capacity, the checkout button, QR codes and payments live on the event's Settings page, not here.
