Connect Claude

Connect Claude to Ovante and Claude can answer questions about your events, sales, guests and contacts, signed in as you. You add Ovante as a custom connector in Claude, then approve it on Ovante's consent screen.

Before you start

• You need an Ovante account and a Claude account that can add custom connectors.
• Sign in to Ovante in the same browser first if you can. It saves a step.
• If you work in someone else's org, read What an agent can see: on a team, the connector shows less than the dashboard does.

Connect Claude

   In Claude's settings, find connectors and add a custom connector.

   Name it Ovante and paste this address:

   https://ovante.app/api/mcp

   Save it and choose to connect. Claude opens Ovante in your browser.

   Sign in to Ovante if it asks.

   On the consent screen, check Signed in as is the account you want. If it isn't, click Use another account.

   Check the address after Returns you to. For Claude it's claude.ai or claude.com. If it's anything else, click Cancel.

   Click Connect. Claude comes back with Ovante's tools listed. Ask "Which org am I in?" to check it works.

What happens next

• The connection appears under Settings → Connected apps, where you can see what Claude did lately and disconnect it.
• Claude can only read. When you ask it to change something, it points you to the right page in Ovante.
• If the connection lapses or someone disconnects it, Claude asks you to connect again. Repeat these steps.

Good to know

• The address is the same for everyone. Ovante works out your org from the account you sign in with.
• The connector answers on ovante.app only, never on your org's custom domain.
• If you own an org and also work in others, Claude reads your own org unless you name another one.
