Connected apps
Settings → Connected apps lists the AI apps that read Ovante as you, what each did lately, and Disconnect, which ends its access at once. It also connects a new one.
Connected apps lists every AI app that can read Ovante as you, and connects new ones. Disconnecting an app ends its access straight away.
Before you start
- Connected apps belongs to your own account, not the org. You see the apps you connected, and nobody else's.
- One connection covers every org you work in. In each one, the app sees what your role shows you there.
Review or disconnect an app
- 1Open Settings → Connected apps, under Personal.
- 2Under Connected, each app shows with the orgs it has read for you and when it was last used. An app running on your own computer is marked On your computer, under the name it gave itself.
- 3Click Activity to see its latest calls: which tool ran and when. A call that was refused or failed shows why underneath.
- 4To end its access, click Disconnect, then Disconnect again in the confirmation. The app leaves the list, and its next request to Ovante fails.
Connect an app
- 1Under Connect an AI app, click Connect beside Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code.
- 2Follow the steps. Copy the address, or the command for Claude Code, into the app. Sign in to Ovante when it asks, and click Connect to approve.
- 3The guide ends with questions to try. For Claude, Ask opens Claude with the question typed in.
For any other app that connects to MCP servers with sign-in, click Copy address beside Another app. See Connect another app.
What happens next
- Disconnecting ends the connection and every token the app holds. Nothing it saved on its side can read Ovante again.
- In Claude or any other app, the connector stops working until you connect it again. Connecting again starts a new entry here.
Good to know
- Ovante names Claude, ChatGPT and Claude Code by where they send you back after you sign in, not by the name they give themselves. Any other app shows its own name.
- Every connection reads only. No app can change anything in Ovante yet.
- If a connection isn't one you made, disconnect it, then change your password and sign out other devices under Settings → Security.
- Where AI apps are off lists any org where an owner or Admin has turned AI apps off, for everyone or for you. See Turn agents off for your org.
