Limits

How many calls AI apps can make for you and your org, how many place lookups, and the longest analytics range, with what the app hears at each.

Ovante counts every call an AI app makes for you, across all your connected apps together, and stops a call that goes past one of these limits. The app gets a sentence saying which limit it hit; nothing is lost, and the next minute or day starts fresh.

LimitHow muchWhat the app hears
Calls per person600 a minute, across all your apps"Too many requests in the last minute. Wait a minute and try again."
Heavy reads per person10 a minute: event sales, the Home overview and analytics"Too many sales and analytics reads in the last minute."
Calls per org20,000 a day, from everyone on the team, counted by UTC day"This org has used today's requests for AI apps. Try again tomorrow."
Place lookups per person300 a day"Place search has reached today's limit for this person. Pass the address as text instead."
Analytics range400 days or fewer in one read"Pick a range of 400 days or fewer."

How the counting works

  • A minute is the clock minute, not the last 60 seconds.
  • A call counts toward an org only when you hold a role in it. Nobody can use up another org's allowance.
  • A heavy read counts toward both the heavy limit and the call limit.
  • Ovante also caps the total across every org. When that cap is reached, apps hear "Ovante has paused AI app connections. Try again later."
  • A read that runs too long gives up rather than holding the app.
