Set each ticket’s fair market value. Ovante books the rest as a gift, and the receipt states the deductible amount.

Ask for a gift with your own amounts, let guests cover the card fee, and let people who can’t attend give anyway.
Questions that follow the answers
Ask for meal choices, guest names or a seating request. A follow-up question appears only when an earlier answer calls for it.

Can a guest buy a whole table?
Yes. A table is one item at checkout. Its seats stay together in seating, and each one can be named by the buyer or later.
Do guests have to pay by card?
No. Offer check, bank transfer, Zelle, Venmo or PayPal alongside card. Those orders keep their seats and show what is owed until you mark them paid.
Can guests cover the card fee?
Yes. Turn on fee cover and guests can add the percentage you set, 3% by default, to their order.
