Ovante vs OneCause
Fundraising software for nonprofits, part of Bonterra, built around auction events. Here is how it compares with Ovante for running a gala, feature by feature, from each company’s own website.
The short answer
When to pick OneCause, and when to pick Ovante
Choose OneCause if
- Your gala raises most of its money through a silent or live auction with mobile bidding.
- You want text-to-give and an auction-focused AI that writes item descriptions.
Choose Ovante if
- Your gala runs on tables, sponsors, a tribute journal and the paddle raise, without an auction.
- You want a published price: one fee per event, with no percentage of what you raise.
- You need sponsors to upload their own logos and journal buyers to send their own artwork.
